The serene setting offers complete relaxation from today's stress providing an assortment of year round activities.The restored historical 100 year old log cabin blends pioneer and modern living into the 21st century. Century old gold placer cuts and sluice box ripples still exist. Pikes Peak Creek disappears and reappears throughout a limestone formation but still offers some gold panning activity. An outdoor recreation area is established for horseshoes, badminton, volleyball and a variety of other games. A giant apple tree transforms into a canopy for outdoor dining while hereford cattle, hummingbirds and other wild animals eavesdrop. The cabin sleeps five, but could be expanded to eight. Utensils and linens are included.Fishermen can receive a challenge from nearby Gold Creek, the Clark Fork River, or the mountain lakes. Pikes Peak Retreat is within close proximity to Deer Lodge, Butte, Helena, and Missoula with each town having something unique to offer.
