Buy Patrick Clark posters online. Description: The annual Wine & Food Festival will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2002 from 7pm to 10pm at St. Matthews School. You will be greeted with warm smiles, laughter and the mouth watering aroma of delicious morsels waiting to be tasted. Sample your choice of champagne, chardonnay or zinfandel, non alcoholic speciality drinks and beers, while enjoying spectacular works of art donated by local artists. The unique combination of wine, food and art make this event very anticipated. Attendees stroll about during the evening’s silent auction, bidding on many different types of art. A much anticipated feature is the evenings’ quick draw program. Three different artists take center stage and create an original artwork to be live auctioned later in the evening.Area restaurants take this opportunity to showcase their new holiday treats along with old favorites. Restaurants compete for the coveted “Peoples Choice Award”. After all sampling is done, attendees vote on their favorite restaurant. The winner will be announced at the end of the evening and will display the first place plaque at their establishment until nest year’s Festival.A tradition of the Wine & Food Festival is the commemorative wine glass. Every year the committee selects a different local landmark to be showcased and local artist Bill Clark does a rendition of the selection to be screen-printed onto the glass.This event is a fund raiser for the Foundation for Community Care and tickets are $25.
