Blacktail Classic Website marketing@blacktailmountain.com BigSkyMontana.us BigSkyMontana.us Description: The 55 mile round trip race begins at Blacktail Mountain’s lodge on January 6th at 10am. The course follows the Olympic Chair down the mountain then crosses over to the Snowboard Terrain Park. It then take mushers down the mountain to Lake Mary Ronan where they will compete in various races around the lake. Teams will stay the night at the Lake Mary Ronan Lodge and Resort then leave at 10am Sunday morning, eventually making their way back up to the finish line at Blacktail’s lodge. There is a $2,000 purse for the winning team.There will be plenty of opportunities for spectators to watch the excitement and they are encouraged to attend the celebration party and award ceremony inside the lodge in Muley’s following the race.
