At an elevation of 2500 feet, the campground encompasses an area of 2 acres. The lake is about 20 miles long and a mile wide, one of Montana's most scenic. The Swan Mountain Range borders to the east. The area is wooded with birch and fir trees and Swan Lake is just across the highway from the Swan Lake Annes Campground. There are 43 campsites. Water and restrooms with handicapped facilities are located along paved loops on the shore of the lake. A boat launch is also conveniently located there. Fishing, swimming, and boating are popular activites at the lake. There are also scenic trails for hiking. Pets are welcome at Swan Lake Campground. Groceries, a cafe, laundry facilities and showers are within one mile of the site. The maximum recommended trail length for the area is 32 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days. You will be asked to pay a small fee for the use of the campground."
