Buy Patrick Clark posters online. Description: Montana’s premier gathering of competitive hot air and special shaped balloons takes place in Billings each summer. The festival opens with a parade of balloonists from downtown Billings. Sunday at 6:30 pm (weather permitting) there will be teathered hot air balloon rides. There is a 6:45 pm balloon launch (weather permitting) each day and activities on the balloon grounds. Advanced 1 day tickets can be purchased at Billings County Markets and participating outlets.Various activities on the grounds include New Carnival & Amusement Rides, The New Jordan International World Circus, Skyfest World Food Court, Petting Zoo, Games & Activities.Friday night there will be a Balloon Glow. Saturday night will be a Balloon Glow and Fireworks Show. This will be the Rocky Mountain Hot Air Balloon Championships.
