The Exhibit Hall features rarely seen fossils, skeletons, and cultural artifacts from the world’s foremost museums before they travel the world. Rotating exhibits include everything from 100-million year-old fossil birds and giant rhinos from China, to some of the oldest-known and most primitive dinosaurs discovered in Argentina, to displays on local discoveries, such as the Anzick Site, a rare Clovis culture site (11,500 years old) considered to be one of the most significant archaeological sites in the western hemisphere. Educational programs and tours are scheduled throughout the year.The Exhibit Hall is located at 120 E. Park Street, in historic downtown Livingston, the gateway to Yellowstone National Park. The Exhibit Hall Gift Store features a variety of educational toys, games, and books, along with locally collected fossils for the serious collector. Free parking is available diagonally across from the building. Wheelchair accessible. Winter hours (October — May) are Thursday-Sunday 12:00-5:30.
