Description: The annual Powder River County fair features 4 H and open class exhibits in this great old-fashioned Montana celebration of crops, livestock, home grown foods and baked goods and crafts. Also included is a ‘let ‘er buck’ rodeo and live music. The rodeo is on August 9 at 7pm and is the wildest event of the fair. Saddle bronc, bareback, calf roping and bucking bulls make this rough stock rodeo an event you don’t want to miss. Clowns and singers entertain you between each event.Many children’s activities are available, such as money search, chicken chase, boot race and calf scramble. All activities are handicapped accessible and food and drinks may be purchased at a number of locations throughout the fairgrounds.
