Spar Lake Campground-USFS Website BigSkyMontana.us BigSkyMontana.us Description: Spar Lake Campground is located on the Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana at an elevation of 3300 feet. The campground has 8 campsites, and restrooms are provided. Scenic trails are available for hiking, as well as a boat ramp with trailer parking located along the launch area road. Boating and swimming can also be enjoyed at Spar Lake. Approximately 3 miles south of the campground are Little Spar Lake Trail 143 and Spar Peak Trail 324. Pets are welcome, but they must be kept on leashes. The maximum recommended trailer length for the area is 32 feet. Please limit your stay to 14 days. "
