This day is set aside to honor Montana historian, former WMC history professor, Fish, Wildlife and Parks Commissioner and Bannack Park manager; Dale Tash. Activities include lectures on Montana history, an old-fashioned school day demonstrations of historic log cabin construction and guided tours. Admission fees are waived for the day and all donations go to the Dale Tash Memorial Fund for the preservation of Bannack State Park.
