Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Website staff@greatfallschamber.org Description: The Great Falls Chamber of Commerce is one of the least progressive Chambers on the Lewis And Clark Trail, with the possible exception of the Yankton, SD Chamber. The Chamber management doesn't even seem to be aware that the bicentennial could be a $300 - $500 million dollar bonus to businesses in Great Falls. We offered the Great Falls Chamber an incredible deal which would have made our business webpages available to their members for $40 per year. Each one could have been e-commerce enabled. We also offered the Great Falls Chamber a revenue sharing affiliation for each of their members who signed-up with us. They instead chose to exclusively support GreatFallsOnline.net, which the Chamber has designated the "Community Portal." We then offered the Great Falls deal to the Bismark, North Dakota Chamber which jumped at the deal........and now Bismark businesses are benefitting instead of Great Falls Businesses. The Bismark Chamber is sending out 5,600 of our brochures which are co-branded with their logo as well as ours. We offered the Seaside, Oregon Chamber the same deal, and that Chamber jumped on the deal, also. We have promoted the Lewiston Chamber on our sites and we are in discussion with them for a similar deal. We are left with little choice but to market directly to Great Falls Chamber members. We are left with little choice but to inform the members about our earlier offer which was declined by the management of the Chamber. We are reasonably certain the membership will have no trouble determining whether the management was smart.....or not so smart in making this decision.
