Buy Patrick Clark posters online. Description: The Don’t Fence Me In 10K Trail Run is no ordinary race. You will have the opportunity to run or walk on a unique course that incorporates some of the best trails in the Helena area. Not only is the course fun, it’s also beautiful. You’ll be able to catch great views, see some spectacular country, and hopefully get a glimpse of early spring flowers. Even better, you’ll be supporting a worthy cause. The Prickly Pear Land Trust has taken the lead in conserving open space in the Helena area.The 10K course is primarily on trails with about a mile or so on roads. The challenging trails wind through treed and meadowed land, some of which was purchased by the Prickly Pear Land Trust. The mile or so on dirt and paved roads brings you though a quaint south central Helena neighborhood.There will also be a trail walk, suitable for families with children, exploring some of the more level trails in our trail system. Depending upon spring time conditions, there may be a wild flower identification associated with the walk.Prizes will be awarded to top pledge gatherers, in addition to race winners of various categories.
