We are located in Salmon, Idaho nestled in the Lemhi Range of the Rocky Mountains, where Lewis & Clark passed on their historic journey. The show case of our valley is the mighty Salmon River, the longest free flowing river in the lower 48 states. Salmon has the unique distinction as the "White Water Capital of the World." Our mountains and valleys offer a rich treasure of scenic beauty, history and recreational pursuits. White water rafting, smooth scenic floats, drift boat fishing and horse back riding, the choice is yours. The privilege to have you as our guests is ours!
Directions and/or Additional Information:
Rawhide Outfitters and Salmon are located on the Montana-Idaho boarder right next to the continental divide in the central part of the state.
For our guests coming from Montana you'll use Hwy 93 over Lost Trail Pass. This pass has recently been reconstructed and provides an excellent scenic route. For our guests traveling from the southern part of Idaho the two highways you may choice is Hwy 93 South or Hwy 28. Those coming from Boise would need to use Hwy 21 which offers some beautiful Idaho scenery, going through the majestic Sawtooth Mountain Range.
