This new vacation getaway home rests quietly among mature cottonwoods and willows nestled on twenty acres adjoining the West Gallatin River. The home is located five minutes from the Cottonwood Hills Golf Course, ten minutes from Bozeman’s Gallatin Field Airport and a short ten miles from downtown Bozeman.The house has a master bedroom with large corner windows, a roomy master bath with a custom tile walk-in shower. The second bedroom had a double bed and large window that fills the room with the morning sum. The third room is a small study with a twin bed. The second full bath has a tub/shower. Along with having a laundry room with a new washer and dryer, the house has large closets and ample storage.The kitchen is bright and airy with new appliances, which include a dishwasher, microwave, electric range, and a refrigerator with an ice maker. A large counter separates the kitchen from the open living room and dining area, which seats 6. Large corner windows let in the north, east and west views. There is a large TV, VCR, and satellite service, and a small stereo system.Summer activities are endless with the West Gallatin River a short walk through the property, a public golf course 5 miles away, a short trip east to the Yellowstone River less than an hour drive through the Gallatin Canyon to The Big Sky Ski and Summer Resort and Yellowstone National Park a few miles south of Big Sky.Fall activities include the beautiful yellow and gold of the surrounding cottonwood and aspen trees and Indian summer weather fishing. Whether you are bird hunting or viewing, there are areas within a few miles to enjoy.Winter activities might include cross-country skiing around the 20 acres or a 40-minute drive to the local ski hill Bridger Bowl. The Big Sky Ski Resort is less than an hour drive where world class skiing can be enjoyed. Yellowstone National Park has great winter activities including snow coaches that will take you into the Park or you can take your own tour on a snowmobile.Spring is a great time of year to explore the mountains.
