Named after the chief of the Alpowai encampment of the Nez Perce Indian Tribe. Chief Timothy State Park is a popular camping park just outside of Clarkston, Washington. Located in one of the drier regions in the state (less than 13 inches of rain per year), the park offers full camping accomodations in this arid environment. Camping: Reservations :(888) 226-7688.
