Description: THE SIGNATURE STORY Signature Theatres, LLC, was formed in 1996 as the result of a merger of the theatre assets of the Harris Theatre Group and Redwood Theatres, Incorporated, two long-standing California exhibitors. The Company has more than doubled in size over the past four years to 205 screens, located at 28 sites in 21 cities in California, Hawaii, and Montana. Recognized for the high quality of its theatres and its attention to detail, Signature Theatres ranks as the second-largest motion picture exhibitor in Northern California, and the largest in the Central Valley. By the end of 2001, ninety percent of Signature's auditoriums will have been constructed with, or retrofitted to, stadium seating, featuring the latest in sound, projection and food service technology. Signature Theatres is operated under management by Signature Theatre Management Company, owned by Philip Harris III, a third generation California theatre exhibitor, also a principal owner of Signature Theatres, LLC.
