Fiesta Days Website visit@whitefishchamber.org BigSkyMontana.us BigSkyMontana.us Description: Fiesta Days is a one day, Mexican/western-theme festival that will take place in downtown and at the mall in Whitefish on Saturday, October 12.Fiesta Days features two major events: the Chili Cook Off and the Dessert Bake Off.The chili cook off features two divisions with both commercial food vendors and amateur chili cookers taking part. The commercial winners will receive a plaque for first place. The amateur winners will receive cash prizes for first, second and third places and people’s choice. There will also be a prize for the best decorated and most highly spirited chili booth.To be a contestant, call the Whitefish Chamber of Commerce at 862-3501 or come to the Chamber office at the Whitefish Mall or Heather’s Candles on Wisconsin Avenue to pick up a Fiesta Days application.At 1:00pm, after the judges have decided on the best chili in town, the general public is invited to buy chili cups for $2.00 apiece and eat all the chili they can.At 3:00pm, for another $2.00, soothe those ignited taste buds with sumptuous desserts at the Dessert Bake Off in the Whitefish Mountain Mall. It’s people’s choice for this one! There will be great cash prizes for both commercial and amateur bakers!Fiesta Days is the perfect way to enjoy an autumn day in Whitefish!
