BigSkyMontana.us Description: Eastern Montana Equine Exposition on September 21 - 22, 2002 is an event for horse enthusiasts of all ages. September 21st you will see horses on Main street. Horses must be 2 year old or younger and no more than 4 per portable pen. This event gives the opportunity to show case the best of the young horses and talk about their breeding. The exposure that the horses receive is unbelievable. The horses will be on Main Street from 10am - 4pm. The craft show will be held at 819 Main Street from 10am - 6pm. You will see a wide variety of hand made items from furniture, wallets, clothing, jewelry, food items and many more. A pitchfork fondue will be held at the Eastern Montana Fairgrounds from 5pm - 7pm sponsored by the Miles City Area Chamber of Commerce.A horse clinic by Dan Hafele on collective maneuvers gain both horse and rider respectful partnerships. Cost of the 2 day clinic is $75 and will be held in the Agri Sports building at the Eastern Montana Fairgrounds. Followed with demonstrations or various working horse events: Tennessee Walkers, Miniatures, Draft, Cutting, Mules, Arabians and others. Horse related vendors in front of the 4H building from 10am - 5pm. Dan Hafele Horse Clinic continues from 11:00am - 5:00pm. Parade of Breeds at 3pm.There will be wagon rides during Sunday. There will be activities for everyone and a wonderful weekend to come to Miles City for all horse enthusiasts.
