Great Falls Clinic Website Description: The Great Falls Clinic, LLP is a multi-specialty medical facility that was founded in 1917 and is the seventh oldest medical clinic in the United States. The Clinic was built on the premise that quality health care need not be confined to large urban centers - it could be found in the wilds of the West. Great Falls Clinic, LLP (the Clinic) is a multi-specialty group medical practice that emphasizes primary practice care and related secondary level medical specialties. The Clinic has 80 physicians, 4 psychologists, 1 optometrist, 1 podiatrist, 1 physician assistant, 1 nurse midwife, and 6 certified nurse practitioners, as of July 21, 1997, for a total of 94 health care practitioners. The term "health care practitioners", as used herein, includes physicians (M.D.'s and D.O.'s), psychologists, podiatrists, optometrists, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. The specialty care services offered are Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Family Practice, Internal Medicine (including Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Allergy), Radiology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Otolaryngology, Neurology, Psychiatry, and Psychology (including Neuropsychology). The Clinic also offers urgent care. The Clinic is a limited liability partnership with 72 Partners, as of July 21, 1997. The Clinic was organized in 1917. In 1975, when it had 20 partners and several non-partner health care practitioners, the Clinic began to recruit subspecialists. In 1983, when it had 23 partners and 32 health care practitioners, the Clinic decided to build its existing facility, which it occupied in December 1984. In the past 11 years, the Clinic has grown from 33 health care practitioners to 94 health care practitioners, and has added new specialties. The Existing Main Facility is located in Great Falls, Montana near the East campus of Benefis Health Care, the consolidated hospital system. The Clinic also operates five satellite facilities: one location adjacent to the West campus in Great Falls; one in downtown Great Falls; a physical therapy center in Great Falls; one in the town of Choteau, Montana; and, one in Helena, Montana.
