Our fully stocked store offers a full line of swim, active, and equestrian wear for baby through adult, featuring unique products, samples, and special sales not available anywhere else! Custom fitting and special orders are a Kerrits specialty; we also offer gift certificates, gift-wrapping, and immediate shipment. The Kerrits story began fifteen years ago in 1986, when competitive athlete Kerri Kent began working out of her home designing swimwear for windsurfers of the Gorge. Demand grew for her supportive and functional suits, quickly becoming popular with enthusiasts from other water sports. Requests from specialty shops and retailers such as Nordstrom prompted Kerri to incorporate and launch into the wholesale market. At the same time, the first retail store was opened in downtown Hood River. Directions and/or Additional Information: To visit Kerrits from Portland, take I-5 to I-84 East, traveling approximately one hour to the Hood River City Center exit. Turn right and go two blocks to Oak Street, turn right to 4th. Kerrits is the big yellow building on the corner of 4th and Oak. From Eastern Oregon, take I-84 West to the Hood River City Center exit. Turn left to Oak, and follow the directions above.
