Description: The Links has been voted America's #2 best new affordable course in 1996 and the #1 course in the state of North Dakota from 1995 to 2000 by Golf Digest magazine. The course has also earned a spot on Golf Week's list of best modern courses from 1996 to 2001. Click for course layout. This course is part of the Red Mike Resort. It was built in the countryside and plays alongside Lake Sakakawea. The terrain is rolling, so you can expect some uneven lies. The course overlooks a valley and is extremely scenic. The fairways are wide open, and the Bent grass greens are large and multi-tiered. There aren't any water hazards, but several sand bunkers come into play on the course. There is a large practice range with 2 putting greens, chipping green and 2 sand bunkers. Directions and/or Additional Information: From Williston: East on Hwy 1804 for 24 miles. East on County road for 3 miles. No advertising signs are allowed on Hwy 1804, so look closely for State Highway Dept. golf and RV sign showing exit from 1804 on a county road taking you the last 3 miles to the RV Park and Links.
