A roundup of rhythm and the arts, in village form. Drum Building, drumming classes and adventures in body rhythm awareness. Become a blacksmith of music by forging your own instruments. Experience dancing and drumming from African and Blackfeet traditions. Workshops taught by master teachers. Guest artists include the Drum Brothers percussion ensemble that will teach and perform West African drumming, dance and the joy of polyrhythm. Jeffrey Funk, blacksmith and sculptor. Jeffrey will teach workshops on the making of forged-iron percussion instruments. Hillary Funk will teach and perform West African dance workshops. The weekend will be filled with building drums, forging instruments, dancing and drumming circles. There will be a special concert on Saturday night by the Drum Brothers.
