Description: Cutting Horse enthusiasts from all over the country descend upon Big Timber to enjoy two major cutting events and an educational clinic for those wanting to fine-tune their skills. This is a Montana cutting marathon! This cutting competition extravaganza kicks off at the popular Carriage House Ranch Equestrian Center and is followed by the 21st annual Sweet Grass Summer Circuit at the Sweet Grass Country fairgrounds. Between the two competitions, an instructional clinic and cutting practice sessions help riders and their horses hone their skills. Spectators can enjoy both the excitement of the competitions and the exposure to top talent at the clinic and in the cattle practice pens. Big Timber and Sweet Grass County have several camping areas, as well as bed and breakfast and motel accommodations for vacationing families.
