Description: Since signing on, as Central Montana's first television station, in March of 1954 KFBB Television has been a vital part of the lives of Northcentral Montanans. The station has from its inception been active in the growth and development of the community and the area in general. KFBB serves not only Cascade County but also Blaine, Chouteau, Fergus, Glacier, Hill, Judith Basin, Liberty, Meagher, Phillips, Pondera, Teton, Toole and Valley counties. KFBB is the only Great Falls television station offering direct coverage of the State Capital in Helena, Montana, and all of Lewis and Clark County. Plainly put, KFBB-TV speaks to more Montana homes than any other Great Falls television station (an area larger than some states elsewhere). Additionally, it serves a large portion of Southern Alberta, Canada. NewsChannel 5, is the ABC Television Network Affiliate for Central Montana. One of only two full-time broadcast News Departments, KFBB's local newscasts are weekdays at 6:30 AM, Noon, 5:30 and 10:00 PM and weekends at 5:30 and 10:00 PM.
