Fort Ponderosa is perfectly located on Belt Creek in beautiful Belt, Montana. We're close enough to the city for all the necessities, but far enough out in the country to give you that real country living feeling. We pride ourselves in offering a true country camping experience with lots of outdoor activities right out your R.V. door.

We've got horseshoes and fishing on site, plus a playground for the kids. There's excellent hiking and biking all around with beautiful views and lots of wildlife. There's swimming and floating or just plain relaxin' if that's what you prefer.

We have shady, grassy, spacious sites that will accomadate even the largest rigs. We also have plenty of tent sites for you people that like to rough it. We have spotless restrooms with sparkling showers just like home and they are available 24 hours a day. And there's no extra charge.

There's a gift store on site that carries sodas, ice cream, and milk but if you need more there is a grocery store in Belt 2.5 miles away. We also have a Propane Filling station and laundry facilities available 24 hours a day.

We also have an Outdoor Western Museum with western tools and artifacts for you to enjoy. And it's free, so you can mosey along and try to imagine how things were done in years past.
