The headwaters of the Yellowstone, Gallatin, and Madison rivers flow from the high mountain peaks and broad plateaus of Yellowstone National Park. Our professional guides hold an unsurpassed reputation for safety. Our guides, training and equipment are the best and we are proud to offer guided raft trips, kayak instruction and guided fishing on three premier Montana rivers.No experience is needed to come rafting with us and our trips are suited to all ages and abilities. The minimum age is 6 years old. We provide life jackets and rain gear for all trips and have a large selection of top quality wet suits available to rent for the early and late season when the water and air are cooler.Generally the rivers offer class II and class III rapids. During high water in the spring the rating is higher. Most half day trips are paddling trips where each person has a paddle and uses it under the direction of the guide. Most of our full day trips are rowing where the guide does all the work and the passengers hang on and enjoy.We are privileged to have an exclusive permit from the Bureau of Land Management to run raft trips through the Beartrap Canyon Wilderness Area on the Madison river. This area is beautiful and remote and will provide an unforgettable day of adventure. It is mostly class II whitewater with the major exception of the class IV Kitchen Sink rapid right in the middle of the trip.For those seeking more individual challenge, we offer kayak instruction. Beginners or those looking to improve their skills are welcome. We provide all necessary equipment and will use an appropriate section of the river for your ability."
