Custer Battlefield Trading Post Website tradingpost@laststand.com WELCOME TO CUSTER BATTLEFIELD TRADING POST Description: Custer Battlefield Trading Post was founded in 1985. Since then we have been providing the public with original art, crafts, and souvenirs from the Battle of the Little Bighorn. In 1995 we opened our store at Garryowen, directly adjacent to the Custer Battlefield Museum. The Garryowen complex is located at the site of Sitting Bull's camp, where Reno's forces engaged the Sioux and Cheyenne, starting the battle. Directions and/or Additional Information: The original store was located a short distance from our current location on Highway 212, just east of Interstate 90. By 1988 we had opened the doors to our new log building (complete with store and restaurant) directly across from the entrance to the Little Bighorn National Monument.
