Description:
Enter into living room with cathedral ceiling, wood burning stove and TV/reading alcove. Down two steps to a dining area and kitchen with Jennair range, microwave and dishwasher. Up two steps to utility room with washer and dryer. Returning to living room, up a partial circular staircase to the master bedroom with separate shower room. From the living room, go through sliding doors to screened porch. Go through screened porch up several steps to the bedroom wing with two bedrooms, each with two twin beds, and a hall bath.
The construction is post and beam with cathedral ceilings in living room and all bedrooms. The walls are diagonal planking with exposed beams and are white-washed a driftwood color. The floors are natural butcher-block color. The house is wide and shallow to take advantage of the breath-taking views of the Vineyard Sound and the Elizabeth Islands. The entire back of the house is a wall of windows affording magnificent views from every room.
The house is private (from all but one neighbor who is up hill - the non view side - from the house). When looking out the windows at the back of the house, or when sitting on the decks across the back of the house there is complete privacy.
