Yellowstone River Duck Festival/Classic Car Show/Microbrew Fest Website BigSkyMontana.us BigSkyMontana.us Description: The Yellowstone River Duck Festival is downtown Forsyth’s Biggest event.The first thing to do is adopt a rubber duck for $10; your duck will be entered in our Duck Race on the Yellowstone River, where it can win you a prize from $50 to $1000. Ducks are available starting in early July from most Forsyth businesses.Then head to Forsyth for the big day on August 10!The day starts off with the annual Mayor’s Cup Run, one of the oldest foot races in Montana. This 5K run is a challenge, but is open to anyone willing to participate. Prizes and t-shirts are awarded.For a less-strenuous event, we have a kids’ parade at 11:00, with kids of all ages participating.Then see dozens of classic cars during the Rollin’ Dreams Classic Car Show.. This show grows every year and attracts everything from late model cars to restored Classics.In late afternoon, check out the tasty suds at our Microbrew Fest, held in downtown Forsyth at 4:00. At the same time, kids can visit the Roxy Theater for A $1 matinee. After that, head to the Yellowstone River to watch the conclusion of the duck race and find out if you’re a winner!It that isn’t enough, we also have a street dance in downtown Forsyth from 8:00 to midnight.
