Giant Springs State Park Website Description: Giant Springs is the largest freshwater springs in the world. At a constant 54 degrees, the natural beauty of the bubbling springs is a truly remarkable feature of the natural world. This is a popular destination for a picnic. This park was first discovered by the Lewis and Clark expedition as they planned for their route around the falls. Giant Springs is open from dawn to dusk during the summer. There is a small admission charge (currently $1) to visit the park. Directions and/or Additional Information: 1 mile east of U.S. 87 on River Drive.
