Description: Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park will offer candlelight tours the dates of December 21st, 22nd, 28th and 29th, weather permitting. Reservations are required. See the cave as the original discoverers did by candlelight. These guided tours take 2 hours and require a 2 mile round trip walk. Visitors should be prepared to hike outside in winter time conditions to the mouth of the cave. Be prepared for snow and cold temperatures. Candles and lantern are provided with the cost of the tour.Reservations required. Reservations accepted starting on Monday, December 2, at the park office (406) 287-3541.
